sid, you feel like you're stuck in a rut too?? i can't believe that! you were the last person i thought would be fearful of the future careerwise. all this time i felt the common man like me looked at you and thought "at least he doesn't have to struggle to barely survive like us". i honestly feel like crying often times when i lay in bed at night and wonder where my life is going and how i have nothing to show for my first three decades. watching your vlogs gave me hope of a better life.
Sweetheart, we all have those moments where we don’t know where life is taking us and that is what the problem is. We need to stop thinking that life is going to take us somewhere and instead we need to take life to where we want it to go.
Everything is a choice and we need to make those choices. Making a decision to actively be what we choose to be. If we take a backseat, all we become is a spectator on our own lives. I’d like to think I try and make active and well thought out decisions to make sure my life goes in the right direction. Or even the wrong one. So long as it’s a direction and I chose it.
My vlogs are just a documentation of what I’m doing with my life. There are plenty of times where I’ve sat there and thought: “Shit. What do I do?” It’s then when I have to make a decision. There is no alternative.
The best thing about life, is knowing you put it together.
