Hello folks

Wireless SSID priority

The devil ofcourse is in the details. Almost all enterprise or even other commercially available SME-grade Access Points should support some sort of QoS.

Speaking in abstract, they will allow you to do one or more of the following

1. Classification - Ability to map certain traffic into a "class" or category. In your case you could classify all traffic coming in through one SSID in one class.
2. Marking - Ability to "mark/designate" the "classified" traffic as having some sort of priority over the other.
3. Policing/Scheduling - Ensuring that the marked/designated traffic is provided some sort of priority in scheduling it.
